TERMS & CONDITIONS
Margaret River Trailer Hire

1. HIRE REQUIREMENTS
- Hirer must be 18+ with a valid Australian driver’s licence.
- The towing vehicle must be roadworthy and suitable for the trailer.
- The Hirer is responsible for ensuring correct towing capacity and electrical plug connection.
2. HIRE PERIODS
Daily Hire
- Pickup: 6:00am
- Return: 6:00pm same day
Weekend Hire
- Pickup: Saturday from 6:00am
- Return: Sunday by 6:00pm
Late returns may incur additional fees.
3. PAYMENT
- Payments are made via Stripe or another approved method.
- Full payment must be made before collection.
- Bonds (if applicable) must be paid before pickup.
4. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
- Cancel 24 hours before pickup for a full refund.
- Same-day cancellations may incur a fee.
- No-shows are non-refundable.
5. BOND & LIABILITY
The Hirer is responsible for:
- Loss, theft, or damage to the trailer
- Tyre punctures or wheel damage
- Damage from misuse, incorrect loading, or negligence
Bonds may be withheld to cover repair, cleaning, or late fees.
6. PROPER TRAILER USE
The Hirer agrees to:
- Use the trailer only for its intended purpose
- Not exceed the maximum load capacity
- Secure loads safely
- Follow all WA road laws
- Keep the trailer within Western Australia unless otherwise agreed
The Hirer must not:
- Allow unauthorised people to tow the trailer
- Tow off-road in a way that risks damage
- Use the trailer for illegal activities
7. DAMAGE, LOSS & INSURANCE
- The Hirer is responsible for all damage during the hire period.
- Trailers are not insured for damage caused by the Hirer.
- The Hirer indemnifies Margaret River Trailer Hire from claims arising from towing or misuse.
8. BREAKDOWNS & FAULTS
If a fault occurs:
- Stop using the trailer immediately
- Contact us as soon as possible
- Do not attempt repairs without approval
We are not liable for towing fees, lost income, or delays.
9. CLEANING
Trailers must be returned clean and tidy. Cleaning fees may apply.
10. THEFT
If stolen:
- File a police report immediately
- Hirer may be responsible for replacement costs
11. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By booking or using a trailer, the Hirer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

1. CANCELLATIONS BY CUSTOMER
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of pickup may incur a cancellation fee or may not be refunded.
- No-shows are non-refundable.
2. CANCELLATIONS BY US
We reserve the right to cancel a booking if:
- The trailer becomes unsafe or unavailable due to damage or mechanical issues
- Severe weather or emergency conditions make towing unsafe
- The Hirer does not meet legal or safety requirements
If we cancel a booking, the Hirer will receive a full refund.
3. LATE RETURNS
- Trailers returned after the scheduled return time may be charged an additional day’s hire fee.
- Late fees are deducted from the bond (if applicable).
4. EARLY RETURNS
- If a trailer is returned early, unused hire time is not refundable.
- Once the hire period has begun, no partial refunds apply.
5. DAMAGE OR MISUSE
Refunds will not be issued if:
- The trailer is damaged during the hire period
- The hirer uses the trailer incorrectly or illegally
- The hirer breaches the Terms & Conditions
Any repair costs may be taken from the bond.
6. BOND REFUNDS
If a bond was charged:
- The bond will be refunded once the trailer is returned clean, undamaged, and on time.
- Refunds are usually processed within 1–3 business days, depending on the payment provider.
7. PAYMENT METHODS & PROCESSING
- All payments and refunds are processed via Stripe.
- Refunds may take 3–10 business days to appear in your account depending on your bank.
8. WEATHER & SAFETY
If unsafe weather prevents towing:
- We may offer a reschedule or full refund at our discretion.
